#favouriteitinerary Owned by the Orchard Hotel (S) Ltd, which was a subsidiary of Pan Electric Industries, the Orchard Hotel Singapore opened in 1960 and underwent a few refurbishments until today. Major construction works were carried out in 1978 to replace the original four-storey structure with a taller building. The new 19-storey hotel has an opulent entrance. I got impressed with their super fast check-in using machine and upgraded from Grand Deluxe room to Premier King room, thanks to the super helpful check-in staff. Perfect stay for short travel or business trip.
