Checked into Fairmont Singapore at 8 AM

Took a red-eye flight at midnight and arrived in Singapore around 6 AM. After having breakfast at the airport, I took a 40-minute MRT ride to Fairmont. Fairmont's location is indeed excellent. After getting off at City Hall station, you go up the escalator to Raffles City and walk for about 5 minutes to reach the hotel. Since I arrived too early, there were no available rooms. They gave me a key card for the shared lounge on the 6th floor. After freshening up and changing clothes, I stored my luggage and went out. I received a call saying a room would be ready around 11 AM, which is relatively early since the usual check-out time is 12 PM. The 6th floor also has a gym, swimming pool, and tennis court. I just took a look and considered it an experience, haha. Breakfast is available on the 1st and 2nd floors, offering a mix of Western and Asian options. The variety isn't particularly extensive but still quite decent. Personally, I found it average. On the 1st floor, you just need to report your room number, while on the 2nd floor, if you go early, no one checks. You can scan a QR code on the room's TV to order food, with a service fee of around 26 SGD. A staff member will deliver the food to your room, and you need to call them to collect the dishes after you're done. The $100 booking credit can be used for this, which is more than enough for a meal for two. The king room has a small balcony. On the first day, I was lucky enough to see the sunset, which is said to last only 12 minutes in Singapore. I managed to see it almost every day. In the room, only TWG tea bags and capsule coffee are free; other items are chargeable. Upon check-in, I received a fruit platter and a small Fairmont lion, which the front desk confirmed were complimentary. I took the little lion home when I left. The front desk staff speak both Chinese and English, though some only speak English. If your English isn't good, you can ask for someone who speaks Chinese. The service attitude is excellent, patient, and professional. The hotel is close to popular attractions: 10 minutes' walk to Merlion Park, 20 minutes to Gardens by the Bay, 10 minutes to Esplanade, and 15 minutes to Clarke Quay. Overall, it's very convenient. Overall, the stay was great. I highly recommend it to friends visiting Singapore for the first time.
