Traveling to Singapore🇸🇬 as a first-time expatriate

Singapore travel review for the first time traveling abroad 🇸🇬 So much fun that I didn't want to get on the plane on the way back! Hello everyone! Today I would like to tell you about my trip to Singapore with 3 close friends. This trip was planned out of nowhere and we booked it right away when we found a cheap ticket promotion. I didn't prepare much, but I have to say that I was excited because it was my first time flying abroad on my own without a tour. Singapore is really a country that's perfect for a beginner like me. DAY 1 Arrived at Changi Airport, an airport that looks like a luxury mall combined with a botanical garden! The plane landed at Changi Airport in the morning. When I got off the plane, I was like, "Wow! What an airport! Is this an airport? Or a world-class mall?" There's even a waterfall in the middle of the mall! When I walked into The Jewel, I stood staring at the waterfall for ten minutes, trying to make it worth the plane ticket price. Honestly, I could have taken hundreds of photos at the airport. After standing around getting drunk from the mall, oh, I mean from the airport until I was no longer tired, I bought an EZ-Link card and took the MRT into the city. We booked a small hotel but it was very close to the MRT. The room was cute but small, so we had to turn around lightly, afraid of hitting the wall. LOL DAY 2Merlion Park – Marina Bay – Gardens by the Bay Let's start with the landmark that everyone must visit, "Merlion Park". The Merlion is the hottest water-spitting animal. We stood and spit water into our mouths following the trend. The pictures came out funny. Our faces look like we were very hungry. LOL. The view around was beautiful. We saw the Marina Bay Sands building. It was magnificent right in front of us. Then we walked to Gardens by the Bay, which is very large inside. We walked until we were tired, but it was worth it! The Cloud Forest is the most magnificent. There is a giant waterfall that is so tall and there is fog that makes you feel like you are in a fantasy movie. Walking around is very refreshing. The Flower Dome is like walking in a flower garden in the middle of Europe. It is full of beautiful trees. It feels beautiful to walk around. We took pictures and whispered that the air conditioning in there is very cold. Once you go in, you don't want to leave. LOL In the evening, there is a light show, Garden Rhapsody, at Supertree Grove. The music plays and the lights dance to the beat. It was so romantic, but I still came with my friends. Too bad there was no one to hold hands with. LOL DAY 3Universal Studios Singapore (USS) – A day of fun and screaming Today, I woke up early with my eyes almost closed because I was going to USS. Anyone who likes theme parks should not miss this. Once you enter, it's like you've been transported to another world. There are zones like Hollywood, Sci-Fi, Far Far Away, Ancient Egypt. Oh, there are so many! I started by running to play Battlestar Galactica without thinking about my life. It was a two-track roller coaster. I did somersaults until I felt like my insides were all inside out. My friend screamed so loud that people next to me looked at me. I was like, "Yeah, look at it. It's really exciting." Haha Then, I went to the Far Far Away zone to take pictures with Shrek's castle. It was so cute!!! Then, I went to watch the 4D show where water sprayed on my face when a cartoon character sneezed. We laughed so hard that my stomach hurt. I played Jurassic Park and went white water rafting. I got soaked! But it was so much fun. On the way back, I walked to eat a giant turkey that I could hold in both hands. It was delicious but so big that we had to share it. Even though we were hungry, we were hungry. Still have some left DAY 4Chinatown – Bugis – Buddha Tooth Relic Temple – Souvenirs all over the bag On the last day, I was feeling lonely, so I went to pray at the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple to ask for blessings for my work, studies, and health. The temple is very beautiful. The inside is very peaceful, walking around makes me feel relaxed. Then I went to Bugis Street. Oh my, this place is a shopper's paradise! Cheap stuff, lots of stuff, clothes, bags, key chains, souvenirs, postcards, milk tea they have everything. We walked around for almost two hours, and got a bag full of stuff, and the prices were very good. Some shops even spoke a little Thai. I know that Thais like to shop here, haha. In the end, I went back to pack my bag with great difficulty because there were so many souvenirs. I couldn't fit them in, so I had to take them out and put them in my backpack. Then I hurried to the airport because I was so busy shopping. When I arrived at the airport, I stopped to eat omelet rice and another glass of milk tea before boarding my flight back to Thailand, feeling a bit nervous. To summarize what I got from this trip: – I opened my eyes to the world! Singapore is a small but dense country. Everything you need – Practice planning your own trip – Laugh with friends until your cheeks hurt – Practice using English a little bit – And learn that… no matter how developed the country is, the cuteness of getting lost and laughing with friends is still the most valuable thing in the trip P.S. Singapore is a very easy country to travel to! The MRT system is the best, easy to understand, convenient to travel, everyone here can speak English, the food is of many nationalities, the price is acceptable, but compared to Thailand, it is a bit expensive, especially the 1.5 SGD bottle of water, it made us cry softly ⸻ For anyone who is hesitating whether to go or not, let this review help you! Because life is short, why wait? Go out and find new experiences. Singapore may be near, but the memories are really far and deep. For anyone who reads this far… thank you. And I hope you will pack your bags and follow in my footsteps one day. Bye-bye! #Singapore #TravelingOnYour Own #SingaporeIsWorthVisiting #GetDiscountsWithoutLuck
