Check them out and make the most of your trip! ① Rain Vortex (Photo 3) When it comes to Singapore Changi Airport, you can't miss the massive artificial waterfall! If you arrive at Terminals 1-3, it's located in Jewel, a complex directly connected to the airport. It's highly recommended to visit after your flight 😉. For an indoor waterfall, it's surprisingly large and impressive. This is a must-visit spot before or after your flight. ② Old Hill Street Police Station (Photos 1 & 2) A colorful building that's popular among young people as a photo spot. Originally a police station, this renovated building is super cute. During the day, you can enjoy its colorful and charming atmosphere, but at night, it's lit up for a slightly cooler vibe! It's a spot you can enjoy at any time of the day. Nearby, there are attractions and a complex facility where you can shop and have fun. ③ New Town Food Centre (Photos 6 & 7) A food center loved by locals and somewhat of a hidden gem. It's like a plaza with food stalls where you can enjoy Singaporean and Malaysian cuisine. The yellow sugarcane juice is famous, so give it a try! Its mild sweetness will help you recover from flight fatigue 😙. ④ Chinatown (Photos 4-5, 8-10) Located near the Old Hill Street Police Station, Chinatown is a walkable area. You can explore Chinese temple-like architecture, Indian-style temples, gift shops, and food stalls scattered around, making it a great place to enjoy the night. Fruits are sold everywhere, and I tried durian on a friend's recommendation. Surprisingly, the smell wasn't too strong, but the taste wasn't for me. Still, it's worth trying at least once in your life! There seem to be bitter and sweet varieties. This lively area is perfect for spending a long evening.
