Unique Afternoon Tea Set at Kempinski

If you are looking for a unique afternoon tea option, check out the one offered by the Lobby Lounge at The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore! “A Botanist’s Brew” is a pretty five-course affair from 2.30pm to 5pm and goes at $52++/pax on weekdays or $58++ on weekends. You can get a discount if you prepurchase the voucher from Lazada! Take your time to enjoy the courses at your own pace, each with different tea pairings to complete the experience. Start off with a selection of cold cuts and savoury bites, followed by a duo of alcoholic delights, then end on a sweet note with a medley of desserts. Presentation is definitely on point and the food’s not bad too! My favourites were the chilled chawanmushi with century egg emulsion, as well as the andraschko coffee scone with dulce de leche, strawberry compote and honey yoghurt. The accompaniments really came together well with the scone! The pandan emerald tart and ivory mousse pebble were great, while the other desserts tasted rather normal.
