Where – D’Sweet 甜旺 Address - 145 Jalan Besar, Singapore 208863 (opposite Berseh Food Centre) Ambience – Mahjong-themed Dessert Shop with both air-con indoor and naturally-cooling outdoor Price per pax – ~$5++ Rating - 😋😋😋😋 Opening Hours – 5pm – 2am (weekdays), 3pm – 3am (weekends), closed on Mondays This dessert café serves both traditional and new age local desserts, has a mahjong feature wall which is certainly unique and instagramable. It opens from the evening till late and hence it is also quite cooling to seat alfresco while we people-watch or car-watch. Ordered the popular Orh Nee with pumpkin and gingko and Mango Pomelo Sago with shaved ice. Really love their Orh Nee (Yam Paste). Unfortunately they run out of pumpkin paste but still the yam paste is rich and very smooth and not oily with the right level of sweetness. The mango pomelo is a tad too sweet for me but those with a sweet tooth would fall in love with it immediately. While you enjoy the desserts, there’s the mahjong featured rubik’s cube for you to exercise your brain. Haha!
