Baba House Heritage Tour

Baba House has been preserved and managed by the University. The tour was in English and was actually really interesting and we had 3 generations in our group. All bags get left in a cupboard and no photos are allowed, but really this is no inconvenience. What surprised us most was the open to the sky middle of the house, similar to ancient roman houses, allowing rain to collect in a shallow tiled area inside the house. It seems such a lovely feature and worth seeing. You get an idea of how the family lived as you pass through the rooms, thoroughly entertaining. I wish I had seen the bedrooms of which I had glimpses!! I believe the tour is free, but we were wishing it had an entry fee as they so deserved it and we wanted to pay it! #maydaytrip #rediscoversg #urbanexplorer
