The "Ragunan Zoo" is located in South Jakarta. It is a popular spot that is overflowing with families with children and couples on weekends. In addition to the standard lions, elephants, and giraffes, there were also white tigers and Komodo dragons. There are also many other creatures unique to the tropics. The animals looked a little hot, but it was nice to have plenty of shade and benches to rest while walking around.
