Perast (a charming historic town — this stop isn’t always included, but we asked and got it added) 🏰 San Giovanni Fortress Incredible panoramic views of Kotor! We used an alternative route via a hiking trail and reached the fortress through stairs. ⛪ Kotor Cathedral of Saint Tryphon Built in 1166, this Romanesque-style Catholic cathedral is one of the town’s historical gems. You can also walk along the fortress walls, visit the clock tower, and take great photos on its scenic bridges. 🍕 Where to Eat in Kotor Pizza is the go-to food for locals and travelers alike. BBQ Tanjga (near the bus station): generous portions and budget-friendly prices. Hard Rock Cafe merchandise stores are great for souvenirs or clothing. 🏠 Where to Stay Viktor Rooms: A recommended, convenient stay in Kotor. ℹ️ City Tax Info There’s a €1 city tax that must be paid within 24 hours of arrival. If unpaid, it might cause issues when leaving the country. I paid it and had no problems.
