Retire to Malta and experience the dream of studying in the Middle East

🏃🏻‍♀️After retirement, I packed my bags and headed to Malta, starting a different kind of study abroad life. When I first arrived here, my eyes were immediately drawn to the local architecture. 🏡I live in St. Julian's, Malta. Being here is like opening a three-dimensional architectural history book, and every page is filled with the romance of the Mediterranean. 📚After get out of class every day, I would walk along the beach back to the student apartment, slowly enjoying the scenery along the way. The sun shone generously, casting a golden veil on the buildings on both sides of the street. The exterior walls, which are a mixture of warm yellow and milky white, have a unique gentle glow under the touch of time, telling the calmness of the old times. The arch is curved, like smiling lips, greeting the intimate greetings of the sea breeze; the shutters are half-closed, and light and shadows dance between the gaps, hiding the secrets of a lazy and comfortable afternoon. The well-arranged terraces are the best viewing platform for the blue sea and sky. They are surrounded by flowers and bloom with the unique warmth of Malta. 🏃🏻‍♀️Walking through the alleys, looking up, you can see the azure sky against the ancient dome, and in the finely carved patterns, there are fragments of the past civilizations of Phoenicia, Rome, and Arabia. Every mottled brick and stone is a footnote quietly left by history; every winding street is like a leisurely playing sea tune. ⏳During my study tour in Malta, everything I saw and took pictures of was a dreamlike architectural creation gifted by the Mediterranean.
