Exquisite and compact small garden ~ Chang Garden

Suzhou Chang Garden is a classical garden architecture built in the Qing Dynasty, covering an area of only about 4 acres. The garden is centered around a pond, surrounded by buildings, and widely planted with flowers and trees. With just three corridors and five pavilions, it creates a grand atmosphere in a small space, achieving the effect of 'Chang' (unhindered). Chang Garden is exquisite and delicate, rich in cultural heritage, and is considered a typical example of small gardens in Suzhou. The 'Jiangnan Garden Records' once said: 'There are still small gardens in the city, with Chang Garden and Hu Garden being the best.'
