Suzhou New District/Taihu National Wetland Park: A Massive Wetland Park with Pandas!

Suzhou Taihu National Wetland Park is located in the western part of Suzhou High-tech Zone in Jiangsu Province and includes several lakes, including Taihu Lake. The total planned area is 4.6 square kilometers, with 2.3 square kilometers open to the public, of which 71% is water area. There are adorable pandas named Xinyue and Zhuyun! In September 2011, it passed the trial national wetland park assessment by the former State Forestry Administration and officially became a national wetland park.
