The Last Day of 2024, a Pilgrimage to Xiyuan Temple

At the end of the year, I stepped into the tranquil halls of Xiyuan Temple, my heart full of expectations for the future and reflections on the past. The ancient trees towered above, and the sound of the bell echoed, as if every breeze carried a sense of Zen, guiding me into a spiritual cleansing. Kneeling devoutly before the Buddha statue, I silently made a wish: May my family be healthy, safe, and happy; may friendships endure, warm as ever; may I, in the new year, be kind-hearted and courageous. The candlelight flickered, the incense smoke swirled, and each wish transformed into a sincere force, merging into this sacred place. Looking back on 2024, it was a journey through wind and rain; looking forward to 2025, I am filled with hope. Every blade of grass, every brick and tile in Xiyuan Temple, witnessed my wishes and determination. May this blessing follow me, accompanying me through every day and night of the future, until my dreams come true and my wishes are fulfilled. Year-end blessings are not only a farewell to the past but also a beautiful expectation for the future. Xiyuan Temple, thank you for giving me strength and hope.
