Winter Plum Blossoms in Suzhou: Hanfu Photography Tips at the Art Garden

Makeup: There are few places in Suzhou that do men's makeup. I searched online for a long time and found a place that was quite standard. When I arrived, there were mostly men doing makeup. There were few clothes, and most of them were martial arts costumes rather than formal wear. Location: I first went to the Lingering Garden, but it was crowded with people and tour groups, making it almost impossible to take photos of larger scenes. I then went to the Art Garden, which is less popular. The Art Garden covers an area of about 3,300 square meters, with the residential area taking up most of the space and the garden area only about 1,300 square meters. The residential area is in front of the garden. The garden is to the west of the residence and covers an area of more than 3,000 square meters. There are courtyards between the front and back halls of the residential area, connected by brick-carved gate towers. The main entrance faces east, and you can reach the front hall, Shilun Hall, through a winding alley. From there, you can enter the garden by heading west. The garden is centered around a pond. There are bays extending from the southeast and southwest corners of the pond, each with a stone bridge of different shapes. [6] The north side of the pond is mainly buildings, with the main halls being Boya Hall and Yanguang Pavilion. There is a small courtyard in front of the hall, with a flower terrace made of lake stones in the courtyard, and a five-bay waterside pavilion built by the pond. The pond converges into a small pond in the southeast of the pavilion, with a stone bridge over the pond. The bridge is slightly arched, which is rare in other gardens. Crossing the bridge to the foot of the mountain, there are two paths. One path leads to a hexagonal pavilion through a winding mountain path. The other path follows a stone path along the pond, with ups and downs, heading west, crossing a curved bridge to a small courtyard inside the garden gate, which is the most secluded area in the garden. The small pond in the courtyard is connected to the large pond, covering an area of about 600 square meters. The layout is mainly focused on gathering, with only one bay extending from the southeast and southwest corners, each with a stone bridge. The south side of the pond is mainly mountain scenery, with cliffs and stone paths made of lake stones by the pond. Shooting angle: Both the Art Garden and the Lingering Garden have plum blossoms in full bloom.
