I Absolutely Love Yanziwo! This Is the Jiangnan Lifestyle I've Been Dreaming Of!

I highly recommend everyone spend a few days at Yanziwo in Xishan, Suzhou. Here you can immerse yourself in the poetic charm and gentleness of a Jiangnan water town. Spending a few leisurely days here has been so therapeutic and healing~ 📍Location: Located on Xishan Island in Lake Tai, Suzhou. It's about a 1-hour drive from downtown Suzhou. Driving to the island is super convenient, and the scenery along the way is so breathtaking you won't want to blink. 🏠Guesthouse Features: Stepping in feels like entering a martial arts world. The courtyard follows a new Suzhou garden style with four themed courtyards: Qin (music and chess), Calligraphy, Poetry and Wine, and Tea and Flowers. Each courtyard has its own unique charm. I absolutely love the Poetry and Wine courtyard - having a drink there in the evening creates such an amazing atmosphere! They also offer free hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) experiences - photos taken in the courtyard while wearing hanfu turn out amazing. 🛏Rooms: The rooms are cozy and elegant, featuring lots of wooden elements paired with natural materials, full of Jiangnan style. They're equipped with smart home features - just say "Xiao Du" to control lights and curtains, super convenient. The bed is soft and comfortable - taking a nap after a day of exploring is pure bliss. Breakfast comes in a 9-grid style with both meat and vegetarian options, including dumplings, shumai, youtiao, rice porridge, and fresh fruits - nutritious and delicious. 🎯Nearby Attractions: It's very close to Lake Tai and Linwu Cave scenic area, about 5 minutes by car. Lake Tai's scenery is like a painting, and Linwu Cave is like a mysterious underground world - super fun to explore. Other attractions like Mingyue Bay Ancient Village and Shigong Mountain Pier are also worth visiting. Here, away from the city's hustle and bustle, you'll find only mountains, water, fresh breezes, and pure comfort. This is truly my ideal Jiangnan lifestyle - don't miss out!
