It's said that King Helü of Wu from the Spring and Autumn period was buried here, and afterwards, a white tiger crouched on the tomb, which is how it got its name. Isn't that incredible 🤩? During the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Situ Wang Xun and his brother Sikong Wang Min built villas on both sides of Sword Testing Rock. Later, they donated their residences to build a temple, which became Tiger Hill Temple. During the Baoli period of the Tang Dynasty, after Bai Juyi renovated the Qili Shantang, Tiger Hill became a popular tourist destination, attracting many visitors 😄.
