I visited this place purely for the desserts, not the famous crab noodles and honestly, the view alone was worth the visit. Although the seating isn't on a traditional wooden boat, the restaurant is located right along the canal, offering beautiful open views of Suzhou's historic Shantang Street. It's the kind of place where you want to sit back, sip something sweet, and just watch life go by. What Tried: • 皇苏式糖水 • 抹茶奶酪 • 上西瓜麻薯 Everything looked gorgeous and was clearly designed with aesthetics in mind and great for photos if you love documenting cute desserts. But in terms of flavor, they were just okay. The taste was quite ordinary and didn't live up to the beautiful presentation. 🙋🏻♀️Service The staff were genuinely lovely, friendly, attentive, and very welcoming even though I was only ordering desserts. They helped with seating and made the experience feel relaxed and pleasant. 🌆 Atmosphere The riverside view is definitely the highlight here. It’s quiet, scenic, and full of that classic Suzhou charm. Perfect spot for a chill afternoon break away from the crowd.
