Taichung National Opera House becomes more beautiful as the night goes by

The Taichung National Opera House was designed by world-class architect Toyo Ito. It is the first building in the world to use curved walls as the main structural support. The exterior of the opera house is composed of 58 curved walls and 29 caves, forming flowing spaces of different sizes, separated but connected to each other, like an organic form, showing freedom and intimacy with people. The design concept of the Opera House is "Bel Canto Culvert", which uses modern technology and building materials to liberate the hard and indifferent environment and transform the straight and hard urban outline into a soft field full of life force. The flowing water surrounding the venue and the image of the sky garden on the sixth floor break the binary distinction between stage and audience, indoor and outdoor, creating more possibilities for people to dialogue with architecture and art, returning to the "human" feeling. The National Opera House combines leisure, art, nature and humanity. In addition to first-class performance venues, there are also good restaurants, coffee shops, bookstores and gift shops. From the sky garden on the sixth floor, you can enjoy the brilliant night view of Taichung City.
