Tainan Confucius Temple and nearby Danzai Noodles

As the first school in Taiwan, Tainan Confucius Temple has a long history and culture. Its architecture is in the traditional Chinese style, with a red base and yellow dignified and antique style, just like a Chinese palace. In the center of the Dacheng Hall, Confucius is enshrined, and on both sides of the hall are tablets of Yan Zi, Zeng Zi, and Mencius. The Xian Halls on both sides of the Dacheng Hall enshrine Confucian scholars such as Dong Zhongshu and Zhu Xi. If you are lucky enough, you will meet an uncle who will help you explain the history and culture of the Confucius Temple and explore the texts hidden in the building. After visiting the Confucius Temple, take a short walk and you will reach Du Xiaoyue Danzai Noodle House. As a century-old store, it has its own unique specialty. Danzai noodles have a mellow taste, and a variety of spices are mixed and intertwined, which will definitely bring you a different taste enjoyment. Although the pig's feet are not rich in braised flavor, there is no fishy smell at all, which makes me admire the store's processing method. The most enjoyable things when traveling are food, culture and scenery. If you can have any of these three, then the trip is worthwhile.
