This building was originally the Tainan Prefecture Assembly Hall, a designated historic site. After restoration, it now stands with a simple and elegant three-story appearance, presented to the public. The 'New Glory Old Photo Studio' is one of the old photo studios in the Central and Western District with over 60 years of history. The permanent exhibition showcases the story of the photography development process. The old photo studio in Tainan's first historic library creates a nostalgic atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression on visitors. The revival of the old store, with the words 'Open for Business,' touches everyone. The exhibition also recreates the photo studio's photography setup, including a bellows camera that you usually only see in movies, which is quite interesting. There is also a darkroom in the exhibition, clearly illustrating the steps of developing film, and you can even DIY experience it yourself. The exhibition is free to visit and is well worth a look.
