Tainan Shuijiaoshe Cultural Park, a great place for taking photos!

Thanks to my good friend for arranging a great attraction - "Shuijiaoshe Cultural Park" at the last minute before leaving Tainan. And the Bixu Bookstore here is really my favorite. When I came back and checked online, I found out that it is known as the most beautiful garden bookstore in Taiwan. It is an atypical old house that transforms the culture of the military village into a new bookstore. It not only inherits the quiet life context of Japanese architecture, but also reflects the culture of Tainan and the characteristics of the military village. In addition to book selection, there are also several art corners planned here, and small exhibitions are held from time to time. It is Tainan’s newest special art and cultural base. The name "Bixu" comes from the water society which inherits the meaning of "the friendship between gentlemen is as pure as water". Therefore, the word "Bi" is specially chosen, which is the same as "gentleman" and is a humble term; "Xu" refers to a settlement in general, and is extended here to a space for promoting reading. In addition, "Bixu" sounds the same as "must", which also implies the concept that reading is a necessity in life. The first opening exhibition specially invited the well-known illustrator ericoco to curate a small exhibition, using the theme of little tiger creation to echo the Year of the Tiger, and exhibiting many design illustrations and handmade small items. When we saw the room full of cute Year of the Tiger babies, our girlish hearts immediately burst out! It was a short stay, but I was lucky to see several small exhibitions.
