The Shilin Official Residence, located on Section 5 of Zhongshan North Road, holds different flower shows in every season. In January, roses are in full bloom, and it is also the most famous flower-viewing spot in Taipei. It is common to see many people who love taking photos of beautiful things holding digital cameras and carefully capturing the beauty of flowers. In fact, the Shilin Official Residence has a vast area, covering about 13 hectares, and has a rose garden that has a history of 60 years. The rose garden of the official residence was initially built in the main hall with an area of ​​about 3,000 square meters, and then the area was continuously expanded to 4,000 square meters, with about 200 species and nearly 5,000 roses planted. I took a picture of the green sculpture of a loving swan surrounded by the happiness of blooming hydrangeas, as well as the cute upside-down man 😆 There are treble clef symbols and notes on the staff, and there is a torii gate next to it, accompanied by the hydrangeas on the periphery. I also took pictures of a variety of different flowers and saw bees 🐝 collecting nectar. My favorites were the light pink three sisters and the bright red roses. Each rose in the rose garden actually has its genus name. There are also hydrangeas hidden in the official residence.
