Taipei Reservation-only No-menu A5 Wagyu Itamae Set Meal

Taipei. Zhongshan Junior High School Station｜USHIHANA "USHIHANA" is located near Zhongshan Junior High School MRT Station. It is a new Banqian BBQ restaurant that only accepts reservations. The main dish here is the Japanese A5 Wagyu beef off-menu meal set, which gives diners a different surprise every time they come. The restaurant's simple wooden tables and chairs and stone decorations create a calm and comfortable dining environment, and there is enough privacy for people to focus on conversations with each other while enjoying the food. The "Raw Beef Sushi Roll" combines tender Wagyu beef cubes with Hokkaido red sea urchin and is garnished with caviar. It not only has a great visual effect, but the fusion of flavors is also surprising. Another dish, "Thick-cut Ox Tongue", is flavored with kumquat. The beef tongue has a thick texture yet is tender, and the light kumquat sauce makes the whole dish more refreshing and appetizing. "Yuxia/Husashi" is my favorite. This cold dish tastes like the classic mouth-watering chicken, but it uses the fatty part of the yuxia, and is seasoned with beef chili oil and sesame paste. It is full of fragrance and will definitely make you a regular customer after trying it. During the meal, you can also taste different parts of Wagyu beef, such as rib eye core, hind leg, belly, etc. Each part is seasoned differently and each has its own unique flavor. The finale is Kamameshi, which is rice slow-cooked in soup stock. It has a fragrant aroma, simple but satisfying. Some dessert restaurants cleverly incorporate red-hot Binchotan charcoal into the ice-making process. After filtering out the ashes, the ice cream has a light charcoal aroma, which is sweet but not greasy and particularly charming, bringing the whole meal to a perfect end.
