Valentine's Day (Shaoshuai Zen Garden) is a must-eat

Today is Valentine's Day, 2022/02/14. It is drizzling in Taipei. The spring rain is continuous, but it can't stop our friendship and passion for eating delicious food. The four of us braved the wind and rain to go to Beitou (Shaoshuai Zen Garden) to eat Shaoshuai set meal. The beautiful painter Huang Xiangqi even joked that we (have an appointment with Shaoshuai) today. Elegant environment. Cold weather. Soaking your feet in the hot spring ♨️ is so refreshing. So happy and joyful. Then we went to the restaurant to eat the (Shaoshuai Set Meal), which was delicious and tasty. It was a great day.

Shaoshuai Zen Garden was built in the 1920s. Formerly known as "Xin Gao Hotel", it is quite famous in Beitou Hot Spring District. It was used by the Japanese army as a comfort place on the eve of the Kamikaze Special Attack Force. In the 1960s, Northeastern Young Marshal Zhang Xueliang and his wife Zhao Yidi were imprisoned and lived here. Shaoshuai Zen Garden has studied the menus and diet from Marshal Zhang's residence to the Zhang couple's later residence in Taiwan. It strictly selects fresh ingredients according to the season, designs creative cooking methods in accordance with the seasons, and uses distinctive utensils to present the dishes with both color, aroma and taste. "Elegant creativity, diverse flavors, and Zen-style plating" is the spirit of Shaoshuai Zen Garden's Zhang Xueliang's 100-year-old hidden food code. #Local Tour
