Guandu Riverside Bike Path

The Guandu Riverside Bike Path is a beautiful place, ideal for fitness enthusiasts who enjoy cycling and running. The entire route is flat and easy to ride, offering stunning scenery. On one side, you have the shimmering waters of the Tamsui River and Keelung River, and on the other, the lush green fields of the Guandu Plain and the majestic Datun Mountain range. You can observe various water birds and estuarine ecosystems up close. However, there is almost no shade along the route, so be sure to protect yourself from the sun in the summer. The bike path runs from Guandu Temple to the head of Shezi Bridge, providing a delightful ride. From Shezi Bridge, you can continue in different directions, heading towards Shezi Island, Guizikeng, the Keelung River, or the Shuangxi Bike Path. For those renting bikes, you can take the MRT to Guandu Station, exit at Exit 1, and walk 2-3 minutes to the YouBike rental station. It's very convenient and highly recommended.
