In 1945, it was renamed the Songshan Tobacco Factory of the Taiwan Provincial Monopoly Bureau, and in 1947 it was renamed the "Songshan Tobacco Factory of the Taiwan Provincial Tobacco and Liquor Monopoly Bureau." Later, due to the reform of the tobacco and alcohol monopoly and the decline in demand, production was stopped in 1998. The factory was idle for many years. Because it is located in a prime area of ​​Taipei City, it was revitalized and transformed into a park. It also combined cultural and creative, design, art and other performances to make some changes to the entire park. It was officially named "Songshan Cultural and Creative Park" in 2010. On weekends, you can see many young people who like to come here for shopping, and you can spend the entire afternoon leisurely strolling in the Eslite Life Songyan store. Currently, many old buildings and warehouses of public institutions in Taiwan, including Taiwan Sugar, Taiwan Railways, tobacco factories, and port terminals, are being revitalized and reused.
