Taiwan in April

Taiwan has pleasant scenery and it only takes more than an hour to get there. During the Easter holiday, I bought a plane ticket to Taipei for three days. We booked a room at Hotel Papawhale in Ximending. The room cost just over HK$400 per night and it only takes 10 minutes to walk to Ximending for shopping. The hotel has a fashionable industrial style and there are many books for free reading. There are restaurants and massage parlors nearby. The breakfast is delicious and it is a highly recommended choice. The next day, we arranged a chartered car to visit Shifen. It takes more than an hour to drive from Ximending to Shifen. We first went to Pingxi Railway to release sky lanterns and strolled around the old street. Visitors will spend more than 20 yuan to buy a sky lantern, write their wishes on it, watch the sky lantern slowly rise into the sky, and pray that their wishes will come true in the new year. In addition to releasing sky lanterns, you can also eat snacks and play games at the stalls. Then we arrived at Shifen Waterfall. Although it is not a very big waterfall, it is surrounded by mountains and has clear water, so it is still worth seeing. In the afternoon, we went to Rilakkuma Cafe in Taipei for afternoon tea. This is a pilgrimage site for many Rilakkuma fans. Eating desserts and taking photos with Rilakkuma is really a great way to linger here! #Taipei #Shifen #Ximending #cafe
