Yehliu Geopark

Yehliu Geopark, one of the natural tourist attractions in Taiwan, is located in the northernmost part of New Taipei City, Wanli District. Yehliu Geopark is a 1,700-meter-long cape that is millions of years old. It is a limestone formation formed by geological movement from the Datun Mountains and the influence of wind and waves, causing erosion and changing into strange and different shapes. This strangeness is what makes Yehliu Geopark an interesting tourist attraction, coupled with the imagination that compares the characteristics of each rock to the shapes of people, such as the Fairy Shoe Rock (仙女鞋), the Candle Sea Rock (燭台石), the Elephant Rock, the Ice Cream Rock, the Princess Head Rock, and many more.
