Two-day trip in Tainan｜DAY1️⃣ when the phoenix flowers bloom

I like Tainan, a place with both the city and the harbor, as well as culture and nature. I came here twice to walk around and eat, and it still wasn’t enough. 🥳 Here is a detailed guide for a two-day tour. It is not a very detailed sharing of the tour sites, so there will be a lot of personal preferences, please bear with me. 🥹 DAY1️⃣: West Central District Art Museum/Literature Museum/Library➡️Sicao Green Tunnel➡️Sunset Viewing Platform➡️Garden Night Market➡️Shennong Street Because the youth hostel is in West Central District, the morning usually starts from nearby (btw Tainan youth hostels are really good value for money and very comfortable🥲). There are many exhibition halls here, you can visit according to your interests and time. Please note that they are closed on Mondays⚠️ (P2) 🌟Tainan Literature Museum Great! If you are particularly interested, you can even spend half a day looking at it slowly. There will be enthusiastic tour guides to explain each area. Last time I went there, there was a banned book exhibition and a modernist literature exhibition. The combination of text, video and music was great, it was highly interactive, and there were many interesting game designs. Even if you are not very interested in literature, it is worth a look~ 🌟Sicao Green Tunnel It takes an hour to take bus No. 99 from the city center. It is said to be called the Little Amazon, but it is actually an artificial river. The boat ride takes more than 20 minutes. There are explanations introducing the vegetation and animals. The trees on both sides are lush, but there are not many animals to be seen. 🌟 Sunset Viewing Platform Route 99 will pass by the Sunset Viewing Platform on the way back from Sicao, which is a good place to watch the sunset at the seaside. The blues afterwards will also be very beautiful. On the way back, please note that it is difficult to get a taxi here. I waited for about 20 minutes. I was so hungry that I bought 40 pieces of egg and scallion pancakes across the street. They were surprisingly delicious😋 🌟 Garden Night Market It seems to be the largest night market? It is open every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. If you visit many night markets, it won’t be very surprising. It is also a bit far. I think it is not as good as Yongle Market. I ate these⬇️ ✅Hongfei Large Intestine Sausage 70 sets, the basil was too strong and it really shocked me🥲. ✅Chen Damin Spicy Duck Blood 80 pig intestines plus fish balls, the food is delicious and the soup is tasty, and most importantly, there are seats. ✅Winter Melon Snow Ice Cream 40 sets, I have never had it, so I bought it to try. It is a bit like a little bit of milk tea with ice cream, but it is too sweet for me. 🌟Shennong Street The lanterns are very beautiful at night, and there is a grandpa playing the violin~ There are many cultural and creative products, and some stalls with good quality and low prices, which need to be carefully visited. There is a good old bookstore called "Wu Tiao Gang Hang Hao". There are many vintage postcards with unique designs. I came back with a lot of stuff🥺 🌃It was past nine o'clock when I went back.
