A four-day, three-night leisurely trip to the small city of Taizhou, no rush but rather relaxing

A four-day, three-night leisurely trip to the small city of Taizhou. Instead of rushing around, we took it slow and managed to visit all the places and try all the food we wanted❗️ Day 1️⃣: Food Tour 📍Arrived in Taizhou in the morning and went to drop off luggage at the guesthouse ➡️ Explored Daohe Ancient Street, where our guesthouse was located within the scenic area ➡️ Shisheng Street for lunch, lots of delicious food along this street ➡️ Back to hotel for a nap ➡️ Visited Shuidong Street in the evening, a street full of dining and entertainment options, plus many women's clothing stores and general shops. 🏠Accommodation: For convenience, I booked Man Cunli Guesthouse for all three nights. Perfect for a foodie like me with lots of snacks and food nearby. The afternoon tea prepared by the guesthouse was also delicious and abundant😋 🚶Transportation: Mainly shared electric bikes and walking today. Day 2️⃣: Ancient Streets 📍Started the day with Taizhou dim sum prepared by the guesthouse, lots of varieties ➡️ Mei Garden (also known as Mei Lanfang Memorial Hall), beautiful scenery perfect for traditional-style photos - wish I had brought traditional Chinese clothing for photos ➡️ Old Street, a nice blend of commerce and ancient architecture ➡️ Visited Sanshui Bay next to Old Street in the evening, beautiful night views perfect for walking. 🏠Accommodation: I was planning to buy dim sum myself, but surprisingly the guesthouse prepared and delivered it from the famous restaurant I wanted to try. They had everything I wanted - I wonder if the house manager and I are telepathic💕 🚗Transportation: Only about 10-15 minutes by car to the Old Street area. Day 3️⃣: Qinhu Day 📍Early rise for dim sum ➡️ Qinhu Wetland Park, a 5A scenic spot with great ecology and many elk - photos look like they were taken on grasslands. Took a relaxing rowing boat ride when tired of walking ➡️ Too tired, went back to guesthouse 🏠Accommodation: After a day of walking, my feet were tired. Had a light dinner and enjoyed a soak in the large bathtub. After freshening up, I sat in my private courtyard, enjoying the view and snacks - what a pleasant life🥳 🚍Transportation: Direct bus to the scenic area, convenient and fast. Day 4️⃣: Return Journey 📍Slept in naturally, had pre-ordered dim sum after getting ready - so enjoyable😎 After packing, relaxed at the coffee shop in the guesthouse lobby where all drinks were complimentary - had an Americano to clear my head 🚌 The house manager drove me to the parking lot and gave me a farewell gift. I love this kind of personal touch❤️ When I got home, I found it was handmade - this kind of thoughtfulness is really appealing) Taizhou truly embraces slow living❗️Perfect for someone like me who wants to take things easy. Planning to visit again at the end of the year. The guesthouse also won my heart, will definitely stay there again👍
