[Miyazaki] Takachiho Gorge and Amaiwato Shrine

After spending the night at Sujiyu Onsen, we drove for about two hours to Takachiho. Takachiho has many power spots. At Takachiho Gorge, we learned about the history of geology while admiring the magnificent beauty of the valley. The trekking course was about 8 kilometers long, and we couldn't walk the whole course, but it was a good workout. After that, we went to Amanoiwato Shrine. This is a famous spot in mythology. It is said that this is the place where the gods held a meeting when Amaterasu Omikami hid herself in the rocks. The sight of many stones piled up is worth seeing. #besttrip2023
