Takamatsu Travel Shikoku Village

🛖Shikoku Village is an open-air museum located at the foot of Yashima Mountain in Takamatsu. Old houses and historical buildings, including nationally designated important cultural properties, were relocated here. The houses are very simple, without any carved beams or painted buildings, but the landscape of the entire scenic area is very delicate and beautiful, with abundant plants and unique small scenes. There are 33 houses scattered throughout the scenic area, and there is an art gallery designed by Tadao Ando in the middle. There is a green building at the entrance (picture 🔟), which is the Kobe Ijinkan and also a cafe. 📌Address: 91 Yashimanakacho, Takamatsu City ⏰Hours: 9:30-17:00 Closed on Tuesdays 🚘Transportation: Take the JR Kotoku Line from Takamatsu Station to Yashima Station, and walk for about 15 minutes after exiting the station.
