Kuretakeso is an international hotel chain based in Japan.

This staycation took place before the Java-Bali PPKM came into effect. Kuretakeso, a Japan-based international chain hotel, was on my list even before the pandemic. I don't know, but I miss the Japanese atmosphere so much that I invited my husband and kids to Japan for a 2-night stay a while ago. We also dared to choose a tatami room, so we could experience a more Japanese atmosphere ;). . This room has a genkan area (a transition space from outdoors to indoors) where you take off your shoes and put on your bedroom slippers. The room itself is covered with tatami mats, and a king-sized low bed is placed on top of the tatami mats. . As with Japanese hotels, the bathroom uses a durable and light plastic fiber material. If you have stayed in an apartment/hotel in Japan, you will know that the bathrooms there do not have cement walls. Maybe this material is preferred to minimize damage due to the high number of earthquakes. . But the most popular of all the facilities is the hot spring💃. Plus, I fail to enter the hot springs every time I go to Japan😁. Yes, before trying the authentic onsen in your home country, soak in Kuretakeso Onsen first. :D. It's not bad, but the rule that you have to be n*ked is indeed annoying, hahaha. But don't worry, we provide disposable underwear for those who are embarrassed to be naked 😅. PDs are okay, because most of the Japanese guests who use the onsen facilities don't wear anything when they soak in the onsen 😁. Maybe later, when the situation is safe and someone is interested in staycation, I might try staying at this Kuretakeso hotel.
