There was a queue outside, so I decided to give it a try. The Hida beef dumpling costs 500 yen, which is on the pricier side. It has a rich flavor with minced beef inside. The taste is somewhere between a large dumpling and a vegetable bun, and it was so delicious that I regretted buying only one. Definitely try this Takayama specialty!
