[Hiroshima Takehara] Isonomiya Hachiman Shrine

[Points] ~Exploring the history of the shrine~ It is said that the shrine began in 1194 when Goto Hyoe Sanemoto, a shogunate official in Kamakura, enshrined a branch of Usa Hachiman Shrine as the guardian deity of the Goto family and enshrined it at the Goto family. After Goto Sanemoto passed away, it is said that the local people built a shrine at the foot of Mount Otori, southwest of the current location, and enshrined it. In 1658, it was returned to its current location by the priest Karasaki Masanobu.
