Takeo Shrine is located at the eastern foot of Mount Mifune, opposite the well-known attraction # Takeo City Library. There is a huge bamboo forest in the mountain behind the shrine. At the end is the #武雄大楠神木. There is a tree hole inside the Danan Shenmu, which can accommodate 12 tatami mats. Every year on weekend nights from July to November, well-known attractions in Takeo City hold a lighting event called "Takeo Light Tour".
