The Kurobe Dam On The Kurobe River

Japan has many picture perfect spots located on the North and south island making this one of the instaworthy photo trip destinations for couples and families! One place that you have to visit especially if you have the car is to head to the Kurobe Dam located at Ashikuraji, Tateyama, Nakaniikawa District, Toyama 930-1406. Although this isn't the biggest dam in Japan, but this place promises an amazing view from the 186m dam overlooking the beautiful lake where you have to climb a long flight of stairs. There is also a memorial to remember the 100 over people who lost their life while building the dam.
