[Narikala Fortress] A scenic spot where you can see the beautiful city of Tbilisi 🇬🇪

📍Narikala Fortress I went early thinking the sky would be clearer and more beautiful in the morning, but the ropeway started operating at 10:00... The ropeway costs 2 lari one way with a metro card (as of May 2022). Surprisingly, there were few tourists who had this card, and there was a line at the counter at the boarding point. I had charged my card so I didn't have to wait in line, so I was able to get on relatively quickly⭕️ Narikala is an important defensive base that has prevented invasions from many ethnic groups. There must have been a larger and stronger wall, but since it has been over 1700 years, it has not retained much of its original form. The Church of St. Nicholas stands within it, but for some reason it did not open when the time came, so I gave up💧 If you climb to the end of the ropeway or near the top of Narikala Fortress, you can get a panoramic view of Tbilisi city. It was so beautiful to be able to see the town I walked around in a panorama again✨ Apparently, there are people who bring birds like macaws to the foot of Narikala without permission and then charge money, but I didn't see any of them. #AbsolutelyFreeTravel
