My visit to Hồ Thuỷ Tiên was a unique experience 🌿. This quiet place holds a lot of natural beauty 🏞️. The lake was calm, the water was clear, and it gave a sense of comfort and tranquility. I enjoyed walking around the lake and taking in the beautiful scenery 🌺. I sat under the shaded trees and read a book 📖, enjoying the sounds of nature around me. The time I spent here was refreshing and peaceful.

My visit to Thuy Tian Lake was a special and mysterious experience. Located near Hoi An, this lake is famous for its parks that add charm and eccentricity to the place. While walking around the lake, I felt the tranquil atmosphere of the surroundings where nature has captured most of the ancient architecture. The giant dragon sculptures surrounding the main building were one of the highlights, giving the place a special sense of adventure. Although desolate, the natural and exotic beauty of the place attracts visitors who want to get away from the crowds of tourists and have a unique experience.

Another popular check-in spot in Hue City is the old amusement park that has been abandoned for a long time. The dragon statue at the Thuy Tien Lake amusement park stands 20 meters tall and is about 50 meters long, surrounding a water pavilion. Tourists often stop to take photos from the floating bridge leading to the dragon statue and enjoy the view from the dragon's mouth. When we visited, many foreigners liked to climb up and take photos from the top of the dragon's head. The atmosphere is eerie and scary, so it's recommended to visit before it gets dark to get beautiful photos. Motorcycles can also drive close to the giant dragon statue.

Hồ Thuỷ Tiên is an abandoned theme water park.  Road goes through a few old rusted water sliders and other attractions. 

The place is surprisingly very well-maintained. There are very few tourists, though they were more than I expected to see in an abandoned place.

There aren't much shade, so I'm glad that I came there in early morning when it wasn't that hot still.

My friends and I spent about an hour strolling around and taking pictures of the old creepy roller coasters and sliders.

Overall, it's an interesting place to see. On one hand it is such as shame that it got abandoned. On the other hand, it surely got some weird kind of charm that a working waterpark cannot possibly have.

Bị bỏ hoang đã lâu, mới đây dưới góc máy của Claudio Sieber (Mỹ), công viên Hồ Thủy Tiên ở Huế hiện ra với vẻ đẹp hoang vắng, ma mị và bí ẩn tới khó tin bỗng trở nên nổi tiếng trong giới yêu thích du lịch.

Công viên nước Hồ Thủy Tiên, tọa lạc tại tỉnh Thừa Thiên Huế không xuất hiện trong bản đồ du lịch Việt Nam. Thậm chí, ngay cả người dân địa phương cũng từng lắc đầu ngơ ngác khi được hỏi về sự tồn tại của địa điểm này. Nguyên nhân là do khu vui chơi đã bị bỏ hoang từ lâu, bên trong chỉ còn đống tàn tích, đổ nát với không gian vắng lặng, không người lui tới.

카이딘황제릉 - 유럽과 아시아, 고대와 현대의 건축 양식이 혼합되어 독 특한 아름다움을 자랑하는 황릉이에요 콘크리트로 건축을 하였다했는데 그래서인지 시커멓게 변색이되었나...?
입구 건축물 부터 웅장하고 독특한 색채를 자랑하는 이곳 

응우옌 왕조의 12번째 황제 카이딘(1916~1925)의 능으 로 1920년부터 1931년까지 11년간 건축되었다.
다른 황릉들과 비교해볼 때 그 규모는 작지만 유럽과 아 시아, 고대와 현대의 건축 양식이 혼합되어 독특하고 아름다운 외관이 특히 주목을 끈다 양쪽에 베트남에서 가장 큰 용이 새겨진 계단을 오르면 작은 궁정에 들어서게 되는데, 양쪽에 코끼리와 말, 무관과 문관의 석상들이 2줄을 이뤄 서로 마주 보고 있다.
그 끝에는 응우옌 왕조의 안정과 위엄을 보여주기 위한 뾰족한 모양의 오벨리스크가 각각 자리를 잡고 있고, 그 중앙에 바오다이 황제가 자신의 아버지 카이딘 황제 의 공덕을 기록한 공덕비가 전각 안에 세워져 있다.

카이딘황제는 응우옌 왕조의 후기인 1916년~1925년까지 통치, 이 능은 1920년에 짓기 시작하여 1931년에 완성된 서구적인 콘크리트 건축물이며, 프랑스 식민 통치의 영향으로 유럽식의 건축 양식이 많이 가미된 것이 특징이다. 

석조와 콘크리트로 된 고딕 양식의 건물과 첨탑들은 마치 유럽의 성당과 흡사해 보이고, 심지어는 황제를 호위하는 석상의 얼굴들 중에도 서구적인 얼굴을 찾아볼 수 있다. 

황제의 무덤이 위치한 본 건물인 계성전에는 청동에다 금박을 입힌 카이딘 황제의 등신상이 있으며, 황제의 유골은 이 동상 아래 지하 18m 깊이에 위치하고 있다고 한다. 이 계성전의 벽과 천장은 서양의 스테인드글라스처럼 자기와 유리로 화려하고 현란하게 꾸며져 있다.

I highly recommend taking a tour in Da Nang and then taking a tour to Hue for a day! It's a bit far, but it'll be a fulfilling trip!

After - Hue Imperial Palace, Emperor Khai Dinh's Tomb, Thien Mu Pagoda, and King Minh Mang's Tomb were all great things for my whole family!

Hue is the equivalent of Gyeongju in Korea, but it's said to be the old capital of Vietnam. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site, so there are many relics and things to see. If I had time, I thought it would be nice to spend a night and look around slowly.

Emperor Khai Dinh's Tomb - This is a royal tomb that boasts a unique beauty, combining European and Asian, ancient and modern architectural styles. It was built with concrete, but maybe that's why it's turned black...?

This place boasts a grand and unique color from the entrance building.

It's the tomb of the 12th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty, Khai Dinh (1916-1925), and it was built over 11 years from 1920 to 1931. Compared to other imperial tombs, it is small in size, but its unique and beautiful appearance, which combines European and Asian, ancient and modern architectural styles, is particularly noteworthy. When you climb the stairs with the largest dragon carved on both sides of Vietnam, you enter a small palace, with two rows of stone statues of elephants, horses, military officers and civil servants facing each other. 
At the end of the tomb are pointed obelisks to show the stability and majesty of the Nguyen Dynasty, and in the center is a monument to Emperor Bao Dai, who recorded the merits of his father Emperor Khai Dinh. 

Emperor Khai Dinh ruled from 1916 to 1925, the latter half of the Nguyen Dynasty. This tomb is a Western-style concrete structure that was started in 1920 and completed in 1931. It is characterized by the many European architectural styles that were influenced by French colonial rule. 

The Gothic-style buildings and spires made of stone and concrete look like European cathedrals, and even the faces of the stone statues guarding the emperor have Western faces. 

The main building, the Gyesongjeon, where the emperor's tomb is located, has a bronze and gold-plated life-size statue of Emperor Khai Dinh, and the emperor's remains are said to be located 18 meters underground under the statue. The walls and ceilings of the Gyesongjeon are decorated with porcelain and glass, like Western stained glass, in a splendid and dazzling way.

This is Ho Thuy Tien Waterpark in Hue. It was temporarily opened in 2004, and before the official opening, the entire playground was closed due to lack of support.

Even the locals don't know why.

After that, it became popular among locals and tourists as an abandoned playground. Originally a fun purpose, but now it's unusual, It happened to be disturbing.

Thuy Tien Lake Water Park or well-known as Hue Abandoned Water Park is located at Thien An Hill, about 7km from city center of Hue, Vietnam 🇻🇳 

It is one most of the mysterious abandoned park in Southeast Asia that attracted thousands of international tourists especially from western countries for exploration of its creepy beauty. 

The giant magnificent dragon sculpture is an iconic symbol of Hue Abandoned Water Park. When I walk inside to the dragon via the bridge walkaway, I feel like it is the scenes of Stephen King’s movie, its so horror & scares.

Walk cautiously inside the dragon because there are breaking glass on the ground. The graffiti walls inside the dragon made the atmosphere even more darkness.

The most Creepy Park in Vietnam 😱

それは、カイディンがフランスの支配下にある植民地の帝にすぎなかったのに、民衆に30%の重税を課して廟を造営したり、莫大な金額でフランスの装飾品を買い集めたり、わがまま放題の民から愛想を尽かされた帝だったからなのかもしれない。

周りにいたベトナムの方も、美しさや煌びやかさに惚けるというより、なんだか呆れているような冷ややかさを感じたのは、そんな嫌われ帝の廟だったからか。

The Khai Dinh Tomb is about 10km from Hue city.

The tomb, lavishly decorated with mosaic pottery, looks dazzling at first glance, but somehow lonely.

This may be because Khai Dinh was merely the emperor of a colony under French rule, but he imposed a heavy 30% tax on the people to build the tomb, and spent a huge amount of money on French ornaments, losing the affection of his selfish people.

The Vietnamese around me were not enamoured by the beauty and splendour, but rather seemed cold and ashamed, perhaps because it was the tomb of such a hated emperor.
