I went here a lot this summer. There's a Bornelund ball pool, slide, athletics, a trampoline, a pretend kitchen, DIY tools, and BRIO and Plarail toys, but only children have to pay the admission fee! It's free for adults, so it's a hidden gem in the morning🥺❣️❣️ But it's only open for a limited number of days🥲 What does that mean? Because this is a baseball stadium⚾️! When I was a kid, baseball stadiums were unsafe, and I had the image of drunk old men, so it was a spot that was too difficult to bring children to, but let's put that aside for now😩 This is the home stadium of the Seibu Lions, the Belluna Dome, which is super child-friendly. It's at the end of the line when you go from Ikebukuro to Nishi-Tokorozawa, and it's only a one-second walk from the station? lol Once you leave the ticket gate, you're already at the Belluna Dome! This play area is called TEIKYO KIDS ROOM and children from 0 to 8 years old can play for 30 minutes. It is mainly for people who come to watch baseball games, so it is usually less crowded than other general play areas. (You may have to wait a little depending on the time.) The Belluna Dome itself is semi-outdoors and quite hot in the summer, but this is indoors and a recently built facility, so it is very clean! There is also a diaper changing space, so it is safe for families with children. On some days, you can enter the driver's seat of the Yamaguchi Line train stored on the Belluna Dome grounds, so be sure to check the event information! In both cases, a baseball spectator ticket is required. Baseball is a live professional sport that you can easily watch.
