The Hermes of the Canelé World

Canelé de CHIANTI, a canelé specialty store from Niigata They have two stores in Tokyo, so I went there with my husband who loves sweets. I heard that you can order by smartphone, so I ordered two drink sets for 1200 yen. My husband got plain, cocoa and apple lemonade, and I got plain, matcha and cafe latte. They were not too sweet, chewy and had a very enjoyable aftertaste. The more I chewed, the more the matcha flavor melted in my mouth, which impressed me. I heard that they make the dough for each flavor, ripen it at a very low temperature for more than two days, and carefully bake it for two hours, so it's delicious when it's made with care.
