[Tokyo/Shiba Park] An urban oasis bathed in sunlight filtering through the trees

Tokyo 𓂃 𓈒𓏸 Shiba Park Shiba Toshogu Shrine I went to visit Shiba Toshogu Shrine, which is beautiful with lots of sunlight filtering through the trees. It's surprisingly rare to visit shrines and temples in Tokyo, so it was like an oasis, where you forget that there are skyscrapers, Tokyo Tower, and other urban buildings nearby. This is one of the four great Toshogu Shrines, built within the grounds of Zojoji Temple, the bodhisattva temple of Tokugawa Ieyasu. Apparently many people visit the shrine as it is believed to bring good luck. The sacred large ginkgo tree will soon change color and create an autumnal landscape. 🍂 It is said that this large ginkgo tree was hand-planted by the Tokugawa clan.
