Puffer Fish 🐠

The puffer fish is freshly prepared by a master chef and carefully selected cuts are served in various dishes. The appetiser was puffer fish salad, which was deliciously refreshing and teased the palette. Next course was the entree, the puffer fish sashimi. Very thinkly sliced pieces of puffer fish fillet is dipped into a specially made soya sauce with shallots, raddish, ginger and chilli. The main course is a traditional style hot pot. The vegetables and puffer fish bones along with the remaining edible pieces are dropped into a pot of boiling water. After the hotpot is done, the remaining broth is turned into an egg/rice porridge style soup, soaking up all the flavours. For dessert, I had sorbet and matcha pudding. Highly recommended to give this place a try. It was my first time trying puffer fish and i will definitely be coming back Total damage : 8300 yen
