[Tokyo/Yoroi Shrine] A rare lion-dog-shaped koshin tower

Tenjin Shrine is a sub-shrine of Yoroi Shrine in Shinjuku, Tokyo. 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 Tenjin Shrine is located on the left side of the grounds of Yoroi Shrine. The deity enshrined is a sub-shrine of Yoroi Shrine, the god of learning, Sugawara no Michizane! It was originally enshrined in Kashiwagikita Park, but was moved there in the mid-Meiji period. The lion dogs on both sides of the main shrine are noteworthy. These lion dogs, which look like they have long bodies and arms, are "lion dog-shaped koshin towers." They were built in 1721.
