The Marunouchi Station building of Tokyo Station was completed in 1914 (Taisho 3) It is said that the station building was made of steel and brick. It was designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan in 2003, and was restored to its original three-story structure in 2012 to become the current station building. It is made of brick and has a dignified, stately appearance. It is definitely worth a visit.
