Free tour of the National Diet Building. Guidelines for visiting the House of Councillors The House of Councillors offers guided tours conducted by staff (guards) for those who have completed the tour registration according to the designated tour course. The tour takes approximately 60 minutes. * Due to reservation conditions, morning tours can be very crowded (except during school summer, winter, and spring breaks). If it is crowded, the tour duration may vary significantly, so please consider taking the afternoon tour. Monday to Friday (excluding holidays and the year-end and New Year holidays) Tours are available every hour from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, noon, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM). Registration closes 5 minutes before each tour.
