Sensō-ji Temple, which was deeply revered by the shogun in the Kamakura period, gradually gained the faith of famous military commanders in history as external protectors, and the majesty of the temple gradually increased. In the early Edo period, the hall was designated as a place of prayer for the shogunate by Tokugawa Ieyasu, and the majesty of the hall and pagoda became more complete, and it flourished as the center of Edo culture.
