I went to Blue Bottle Coffee in Kiyosumi Shirakawa that day. After drinking coffee, I wandered around the street and unexpectedly found a super cute little shop - MAKOO. This is a small shop that specializes in selling recycled leather products. I happened to meet the brand's owner, Mr. Makoto, and chatted with him for a while. Listening to him share the brand's philosophy was really enjoyable. MAKOO mainly recycles discarded leather and remakes it into various bags and small items. It also collaborates with Japanese artists from time to time to launch unique joint products. The most interesting thing is that their bags look like brown paper bags, but they are actually made of leather, and the longer they are used, the more charming the texture of the leather becomes. The decoration and furnishings in the store are also very special. They are all designed and transformed by Mr. Makoto using materials recycled from daily life.
