Koishikawa Korakuen Fall Foliage Viewing

#Valentine's Day 2025 The itinerary was mainly to go to "Koishikawa Korakuen" to enjoy the maple leaves. That afternoon, I planned to go to "Tokyo University Hongo Campus". The Hongo Campus of the University of Tokyo is not only full of history in its buildings, but also has the Yasuda Auditorium registered as a cultural property. The ginkgo trees on campus and the buildings are a great way to take photos. In addition to Ginkgo Avenue, there is also a big ginkgo tree on the campus of Tokyo University. It is super beautiful and has a different feeling from Ginkgo Avenue! Entering through the main gate of the Hongo Campus of the University of Tokyo, you will see the most famous Ginkgo Avenue, which extends all the way to the "Yasuda Auditorium" in the back. This section is the best place to take photos in the entire campus. The density of ginkgo trees planted along this Namikidō Road is very high. You can capture a sense of compression by simply zooming in on the camera, creating a beautiful golden ginkgo tunnel. It is a very popular photo spot. Another great spot for photographing ginkgo trees is the Agricultural College. From the main gate of the Hongo Campus, head toward the Todai-mae subway station and cross the street to reach the Agricultural College. The solid Agricultural College Gate is also a great spot for photographing. After entering the gate, you will see the Yayoi Auditorium on your left, and in front of you is the statue of Hachiko, the loyal dog, meeting his owner, the professor of the Department of Agriculture, in front of Shibuya Station. On the right is the Agricultural College Building No. 1, and the reflection of the ginkgo trees in the glass building is also a very beautiful picture.
