I chose Zojoji Temple as the spot to celebrate New Year's Eve in Tokyo. Standing in the plaza in front of the temple, Tokyo Tower is right in front of you, its orange-red structure standing out brilliantly against the night sky, rivaling even the Skytree! On New Year's Eve, Zojoji Temple is particularly lively. The area in front of the temple is filled with stalls from a traditional New Year's market, with the aroma of takoyaki wafting through the air, various traditional Japanese snacks, shooting game stalls, and vendors selling all kinds of omamori and New Year's decorations... Zojoji Temple is an excellent spot to admire Tokyo Tower. The traditional architecture of the temple contrasts interestingly with the modern tower, and the bustling atmosphere of the New Year's market makes this New Year's Eve especially memorable 🥰
